Healing Arts integrates the arts into health care, creating spaces not just to treat illness, but to also provide inspiration for living. From music to massage, paintings, sculptures to nature walks, the Healing Arts program offers many expressions of art to revitalize the mind, body and spirit. Learn more about Healing Arts.

Healing Garden: As part of our commitment to care for the mind, body and spirit, the half-acre Hewit Foundation Healing Garden offers patients, families and the community respite and peace. The garden hosts smaller more intimate gardens, each designed with a specific purpose. Opportunities are available to purchase dedicated garden features such as a stone bench, brick or whispering wall flower. For more information, please contact Marble Jones at 303-715-7608.

There are only four hospitals in the metropolitan Denver area that have sexual assault nurse examiners. Littleton Adventist Hospital is proud to offer this to our community. A SANE is a registered nurse who has been specifically trained to provide comprehensive care to sexual violence victims. The SANE is trained to identify physical trauma, to document injuries, to collect evidence and maintain the chain of custody, and to provide necessary referrals. SANE’s provide support through advocacy and act as expert witnesses for prosecution, which increase the rate of prosecution of perpetrators. Our program focuses entirely on the patient, offering care and support to move from victim to survivor.

Support the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner program at Littleton Adventist Hospital, and select SANE as the intended fund.
Suicide affects children, adults and families throughout our community. Littleton Adventist Hospital is proud to be a partner in suicide prevention through our support of organizations like the Greater Littleton Youth Initiative, who seek to provide programs such as the Suicide Prevention Project and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) to local youth.
