ER Wait Time
Littleton Hospital's Average ER Wait Time
Know Before You Come
At Littleton Adventist Hospital our commitment is to provide our patients with safe, quality care in a timely manner. You can now check our ER wait times, updated every 15 minutes, from your computer or phone. All patients are triaged at arrival and seen in priority order based on presenting complaints and reason for visit.
How We Calculate Your ER Wait
Our ER wait times represent a one-hour rolling average, updated every 15 minutes. Wait times are defined as the time you check in at the front desk until the time you are greeted by a qualified, assigned medical professional. A qualified medical professional is defined as at Doctor of Medicine (MD), a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), a Physician’s Assistant (PA) or an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP).

The Next Generation of HealthEmergency situation? Physicians and staff at the Littleton Adventist Hospital emergency department (ED) can now be ready for you before you even arrive.Littleton Hospital is one of only two hospitals in the United States to pilot the "Tell Us You're Coming" feature of iTriage, the newest healthcare smart phone application.
With "Tell Us You're Coming," you can alert physicians and staff in the ED of your symptoms, allergies, gender, age, and more before you walk through the doors. Patients can also pre-register for emergency care through the iTriage feature, making the process smoother during a health emergency, while also helping the hospital staff be better prepared to see them. Allowing you to "Tell Us You're Coming" is just one way Littleton Hospital works to ensure a positive experience at the hospital.
"At Littleton Hospital, the entire culture is built around customer service," says Wayne Guerra, MD, MBA, co-founder and chief medical officer at Healthagen, developer of iTriage.
If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 9-1-1.
