It began as a collective vision...

Shared by the community of Castle Rock and Centura Health, Colorado's largest healthcare network; how to work together to build a healthcare campus to serve the residents of this rapidly growing Douglas County community. 

Land was purchased off Meadows Blvd. in The Meadows subdivision in 2009 and construction began in fall 2010 on Castle Rock Adventist Health Campus. Development of the campus was divided into two phases. Phase 1, a full-service ER and Outpatient Imaging Center, was completed and opened in September 2011. Phase 2 will include a 50 licensed bed hospital and is slated for completion in the summer of 2013. Construction on the hospital began in September 2011 simultaneous to the opening of Phase 1. The four-story 212,240 square-foot Castle Rock Adventist Hospital will offer a full complement of medical/surgical services including intensive care, obstetrics, orthopedics and cardiology. Also included in Phase 2 is a 60,000 square-foot medical office building and extensive site development.

When Centura Health made the decision to expand its network of care into Castle Rock it did so with the mission of becoming a partner for life with the 50,000+ residents of Castle Rock and its surrounding communities. As part of our Adventist heritage we focus on whole person care, mind, body and spirit. Already we have taken an active role in many civic and charitable events in the community and look forward to having those partnerships grow. We are proud of the fact that many of the 60+ associates who work in our full-service ER and Outpatient Imaging Center call Castle Rock home and have chosen to use their expertise to benefit their hometown. With the opening of the hospital we expect to bring more than 300 new jobs to the Castle Rock community.
