Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is the hospital’s mission and vision?

A. We extend the healing ministry of Christ by caring for those who are ill and by nurturing the health of the people in our communities. Our vision is to fulfill a covenant of caring for our communities with excellence and integrity to become their partner for life.

Q. Who provides spiritual care at Littleton Adventist Hospital?

A. Our Chaplains will work with you, your family and significant others to help assist you in your personal spiritual needs. We have a spiritual care team made up of individuals from various backgrounds. Our team is available for comfort, encouragement and counsel to all persons in the hospital regardless of background or beliefs. If you prefer to speak with someone from your faith denomination, we are here to help you make that contact.

Q. What if I'm not religious?

A. We are a merciful and compassionate team, respectful of each individual’s belief system, religious or not. We offer solutions to problems and provide support through difficult times. Often, it helps to draw from those with experience in dealing with the types of situations, which often occur in a hospital setting.

Q. How do I request Pastoral Care?

A. Our Chaplains work closely with all departmental personnel and can be contacted directly at 303-730-5884. Ask your nurse about making a request to speak to someone from our spiritual team. The Chaplain office is located near the chapel on the first floor of the hospital.

Q. What if I still have questions?

A. Please call us at 303-730-5884.
