Dr. Wood has been a part of the Centura team for more than 18 years. During this time, he has served on many committees for both Porter and Littleton and most recently served as president of Littleton Adventist Hospital's medical staff. In 2007, Dr. Wood was named the hospital's chief medical officer.
Dr. Wood is a member of the Colorado Medical Society, Arapahoe, Douglas & Elbert Medical Society, American College of Physicians and the Arapahoe Medical Foundation.
Dr. Wood holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Colorado and a doctor of medicine from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Wood served his residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University.
