The Student/Shadowing Experience at Littleton Adventist Hospital

Shadowing

Shadowing is a short observation experience providing exposure to healthcare occupations for your interest or to complete high school course requirements.  This can include RNs, CNAs, respiratory therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, nurse practitioners, physician's assistants, or any other healthcare-related positions.  For the application process, click here.

If you are interested in shadowing a healthcare occupation because you need to complete a required number of hours for a college or graduate-level course, you need to click the link to the healthcare occupation you are interested in shadowing:

  1. To shadow physicians, nurse practitioners, physician's assistants to complete required hours for a college or graduate level course, click here.
  2. To shadow RNs, CNAs, respiratory therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, or any other healthcare-related position to complete required hours for a college or graduate level course, you will need to go through our Student Placement program.  To review our Student Placement Program, click here.

Littleton Adventist Hospital does not provide any shadowing opportunities for LPNs and MAs (Medical Assistants).
